Witness – Angeliki Shipwreck

Trapped in a hurricane on a sinking ship!

Angeliki had a good life in Colossae—the daughter of an official Roman interpreter, an easy life with plenty of food and clothes and friends. But storm clouds blew all that away. Now she has to move all the way to Rome, center of the world, and leave everything she knew. Would they even arrive in Rome? Angeliki and her family must crowd onto a ship loaded not only with grain for Rome, but also with a group of criminals guarded by a few Roman soldiers. To make matters worse, travel is forbidden except by special order due to the storms that had ended many journeys and lives. As they travel, the winds and waves crash and threaten to sink the ship and all aboard. The crew and soldiers pray to their gods, but none can help. Only a group of three men—Paul, Luke, and Aristarchus—and one of them a prisoner, is unafraid because the God they serve is with them. Can Angeliki learn to trust these men and their God? Or will the ship and everyone on board drown in the merciless sea?
